These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fylzap ("Service"), operated by Fylzap ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Fylzap is an AI-ready document processing platform that converts PDFs, DOCX files, images, and structured data into AI-ready Knowledge Packs for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows, with a REST API and CLI tool (fylzap) for developer automation.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and API keys
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Convert or distribute copyrighted material without authorization
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Use automated scripts to circumvent rate limits
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
- Upload illegal content or content that violates any applicable law
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
4.1 Plans
We offer Free and paid plans: Pro ($19/month), Enterprise ($49/month). Plan features and limits are described on our pricing page and may change with notice.
4.2 Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

5. API Access
API access is available to Pro and Enterprise users. You agree to:
- Keep your API keys confidential and not share them publicly
- Not exceed your plan's API rate limits
- Revoke compromised API keys immediately
- Use the API only for lawful purposes
We reserve the right to suspend API access for abuse or violation of these Terms.
6. Your Files and Content
You retain full ownership of all files you upload. By uploading files, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process them solely for the purpose of providing the conversion Service. Original uploaded files are deleted immediately after conversion. Converted output files are stored for up to 24 hours if conversion history is enabled, then permanently deleted — see our Privacy Policy for details. We do not claim any ownership or rights over your content.
You represent that you have the right to upload and convert all files you submit, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
7. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service unavailability.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, logos, and content, is owned by Fylzap and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. The Fylzap name, logo, and brand are our trademarks.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT CONVERSION RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FYLZAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fylzap from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
